Assignment:
1. Based upon what you have learned about your family and the people in it, write an historical fiction tying your ancestor to some great event in Canadian history. Your ancestor could be witness to a great event, could have fictitiously been involved, or could have contributed in any number of ways to change the course of Canadian history. It could be a child’s perspective as a witness, or one of a senior reminiscing, or an historical narrative. Include pertinent historical information interwoven throughout the story.
