Photograph Activity

Assignment:
1. Using a photograph or photographs of ancestors from a particular time period, prepare a report from what you have observed. Discuss how they were dressed, evidence of transportation, or types of buildings. Try to determine what occupation the people in the picture may have had. Was there a special occasion for the taking of the picture? Is there any indication of social activities – religion, organizations, family gatherings? What world events took place during this time? How would the people in the picture be affected by these events?
